SAR Pokémon cards (Special Art Rare, the Japanese SIR)

SAR stands for Special Art Rare, the full-art illustration cards that are the chase cards of most modern Japanese sets. In English sets the same cards are called Special Illustration Rares. These are ungraded Japanese SAR singles we can source right now, priced live from our Japanese suppliers, each listed with its condition grade.

Questions

What is the difference between SAR and SIR?
Same card, different language. Japanese sets mark it SAR (Special Art Rare); the English printing calls it a Special Illustration Rare (SIR).
What condition are raw singles in?
Every raw single is listed with a condition grade: A+ near perfect, A mint, A- a tiny flaw, B light wear, C/D visible wear. Treat them as play-grade cards rather than grading candidates, even at A+.
Is there a minimum order for singles?
Raw singles are sourced per order, so there is a ¥3,000 minimum for raw singles, and the whole order has a ¥10,000 minimum. Singles ship in the same parcel as any boxes or slabs you order.
How much is shipping, and are there import taxes?
Shipping is calculated at checkout by country and weight (FedEx, or DHL to Australia and New Zealand when it is much cheaper) and added to your JPY total. US orders include import duty at checkout; elsewhere any import tax or GST is charged by the courier on delivery.
How do I pay?
Prices are in Japanese yen. Place the order, then pay the JPY total through Wise in your own currency, by bank transfer, or by card through Stripe (5% processing fee). There is a ¥10,000 minimum order.
